Capricorn Clark, a former assistant to Sean “Diddy” Combs, testified on Day 10 of his federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial, detailing threats, abuse, and disturbing workplace demands during her time working for the music mogul.
Clark, who worked for Diddy from 2004 to 2020, told the court that he once threatened her life after learning she had worked for Suge Knight, calling it a serious and frightening moment. She also testified that Diddy made a vague threat about rapper 50 Cent, reportedly saying, “I like guns.”
Clark said Diddy accused her of stealing three pieces of expensive jewelry in 2004 and subjected her to five straight days of lie detector tests. She was taken to a New York City office by security and told, “If you fail, you’re going in the East River.”
She said she was not allowed to leave until she was cleared, describing the ordeal as terrifying. Another assistant, George Kaplan, also testified last week that he was forced to take lie detector tests during his time working for Combs.
Clark also described a toxic and exhausting work environment, saying she worked from 7 a.m. to 4 a.m. daily for a $55,000 salary. The stress caused her to develop alopecia and lose her hair.
Her duties included booking hotel rooms with drugs and IV drips for Diddy and Cassie. She said she would unpack his belongings, including baby oil, a small camera, and drugs like ecstasy. The IV bags allegedly contained serotonin-like supplements to help recover from drug use.
Clark told the court she was also asked to obtain drugs, including cocaine in the south of France and prescription pills in her own name, which Diddy said he would pay for.
She also recalled a misogynistic moment in 2010 when Diddy questioned her about being single, then summoned Cassie and told her to “sit down, stand up, and turn around”, saying:
“You bitches don’t want to do that, and that’s why you don’t have a man.”
Diddy has pleaded not guilty to all charges. The trial continues.
