The highly anticipated Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie is set to hit cinemas on July 18, 2025.
The announcement was made at the Corps Gathering event on March 1, exciting fans of the popular anime series.
Infinity Castle Movie Trilogy
The movie will be the first part of a trilogy adapting the Infinity Castle arc from Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga.
This arc follows Tanjiro, his friends, and the Hashira warriors as they face off against Muzan Kibutsuji and the remaining Upper Rank demons in the villain’s lair.
If the trilogy stays true to the manga, it could also cover the Sunrise Countdown arc, which would bring the entire Demon Slayer story to its cinematic conclusion.
A Historic Franchise Return
This will be the first original Demon Slayer movie since Mugen Train in 2020. That film became the highest-grossing movie of the year, surpassing major Hollywood titles like Christopher Nolan’s Tenet during the pandemic.
Fans can expect breathtaking animation from Ufotable Studios, along with emotional battles that will close the chapter on Tanjiro’s journey.
Release and Expectations
The Infinity Castle movie will arrive in theaters worldwide on July 18, 2025, with further details about the trilogy expected soon.
