The celebration begins on April 16 with Summer of Superman Special #1, featuring the wedding of Lana Lang and John Henry Irons (Steel).

The Summer of Superman Special #1 is an oversized issue written by Dan Slott, Mark Waid, and Joshua Williamson, with art by Jorge Jiménez.
