David Harbour was seen at Millie Bobby Brown’s 22nd birthday party this week, months after reports of a “bullying” rift on the set of Stranger Things.
The reports, first circulated during the lead-up to the show’s final season, claimed Bobby Brown made multiple accusations against Harbour, who plays her adopted father, Jim Hopper. No sexual misconduct was alleged, and the specific claims were not publicly detailed.
Netflix reportedly conducted a months-long internal investigation, and Bobby Brown was accompanied by a personal representative on set during Season Five filming. Despite the controversy, she later appeared alongside Harbour at the season premiere, showing they had moved past the rumors.
Speaking to Deadline, Bobby Brown said she felt safe on set. “We’ve worked together for 10 years. We also play father and daughter, so naturally we have a closer bond because of the intense scenes in Season 2,” she said.

Harbour was joined by other Stranger Things alumni, including Jamie Campbell-Bower (Vecna) and executive producer Shawn Levy, at the birthday celebration.
The appearance confirms that the two actors remain close friends in real life. Harbour previously told Entertainment Tonight, “I adore her, and I’ve been proud to watch all of them grow up and become great artists. I doubt it will be the last time we’ll see each other in this world or work together.”
With the show ending and Eleven’s storyline concluded, it seems any on-set drama has been fully resolved, leaving the stars on good terms off-screen.
