Actor Charlie Cox, who stars in Marvel’s “Daredevil: Born Again,” says fans need to convince Marvel to make a solo Daredevil movie. While filming the new season, Cox revealed he does not know if a solo film is planned but encourages fans to show their support.
In a recent interview with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, Cox said, “I’m the worst person to ask. I have no idea. You have to ask the grown-ups. I don’t know anything.” Despite this, he is happy with the long-form storytelling the show allows.
Cox also mentioned how the first two episodes of each season are shown in theaters, giving the series a cinematic feel. He urged fans to “just write letters” to Marvel if they want a Daredevil movie.
The Marvel Netflix characters are making a comeback, with Krysten Ritter returning as Jessica Jones in the new season. However, it is still unclear if other characters like Luke Cage or Iron Fist will join the MCU.
Fans hope director Destin Daniel Cretton will include Daredevil in future Marvel movies, such as the upcoming Spider-Man or Avengers films.
