CD Projekt Red has released the unexpected Update 2.2 for Cyberpunk 2077, bringing significant enhancements to player expression through cars, photography, and character customization.
Developed alongside French support studio Virtuos, this update is now available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game. Here are the highlights of the update:
The update introduces expanded car customization, allowing players to fine-tune their vehicle’s paint job. New features include more color-changing options, such as saturation and hue adjustments.
The CrystalCoat color-changing feature, previously available only for Rayfield cars, is now also available for Herrera, Mizutani, Quadra, and Villefort vehicles.
Players can even copy the color and patterns of other cars while exploring Night City for a small fee, which can help in making a quick getaway from the law.
Cyberpunk 2077 fans will also have 10 new cars to collect, including:
Johnny Silverhand will now appear more regularly in your car—around 25% of the time—as a passenger. He’ll even offer comments while you cruise around Night City, adding a new layer of interaction to the game.
