Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell

Court Orders Ghislaine Maxwell to Follow Tough Rules After Sentence

Ghislaine Maxwell, known for her connection to Jeffrey Epstein, is facing intense federal supervision after serving her prison term. Maxwell is currently appealing her 20-year sentence, but if she serves it fully, she will be subject to strict conditions for five years once released.

Court documents reveal Maxwell must undergo sex-offense evaluations, outpatient treatment, and mental health programs. She will also have to submit to polygraph tests regularly.

The conditions prohibit Maxwell from accessing websites, chatrooms, or social media, especially those related to minors, without federal approval. She must avoid any contact with people under 18 and stay at least 100 feet away from places like schools, playgrounds, and arcades.

Additionally, Maxwell is banned from viewing or downloading adult pornography unless permitted by her treatment provider. She must also avoid any physical, visual, written, or phone contact with her victims.

Maxwell was found guilty in 2021 of conspiracy related to sex trafficking involving minors. The accusations include helping Epstein recruit and abuse teenagers between 1994 and 2004.

Her appeal challenges the prosecution, citing a previous plea deal between Epstein and the government. However, winning such an appeal is considered difficult, especially given the public attention around Epstein’s crimes.
