With Grand Theft Auto 6 delayed until May 26, 2026, Take-Two Interactive is reportedly planning to release four remasters or new editions of classic Rockstar titles to keep fans engaged while they wait.
This news surfaced during a recent Take-Two earnings call and was highlighted by a tweet from @videotechuk_.
Among the likely candidates are GTA IV (rumored for a remaster or port), Max Payne 1 and 2 (officially confirmed remasters), and potentially Red Dead Redemption 2, Bully, Manhunt, or Midnight Club.
These releases would offer a nostalgic bridge for players ahead of GTA 6’s launch.
Rockstar is known for taking its time to deliver polished games, so further delays for GTA 6 remain possible.
Meanwhile, fans can expect these classic remasters to help fill the gap on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with PC release details for GTA 6 still pending.
