One of Fortnite’s most popular skins is finally returning. The famous Chun-Li skin from Street Fighter will be back in the Fortnite item shop tonight after almost three years.
Chun-Li was first added to Fortnite in early 2021, with her last appearance in the shop in August 2022. Since then, fans have been asking for her return. Now, the wait is over. Players can buy the Chun-Li skin again when the shop resets at 8 PM EST.
Chun-Li is one of the most popular characters in Street Fighter history. Many fans even say she’s more iconic than Ryu. Known for her powerful kicks, seeing her holding Fortnite weapons always brings laughs to players. The character was also played by Ming-Na Wen in the 1994 Street Fighter movie, adding even more nostalgia for longtime fans.
Along with Chun-Li, other Street Fighter characters like Ryu, Cammy, Guile, Blanka, and Sakura are also returning to the shop.
It’s not always easy for Fortnite to bring back licensed skins. Epic Games often needs to make new deals with other companies, like Capcom in this case. Luckily, both sides worked it out, and now Street Fighter fans can celebrate.
