The latest ChatGPT update for iOS introduces a new shortcut that makes using SearchGPT easier. This feature allows users to create Apple Shortcuts that open SearchGPT directly in the ChatGPT app, making it more accessible.

With this shortcut, users can quickly start a conversation in ChatGPT with SearchGPT enabled, and even trigger it using Siri.

SearchGPT is a search engine developed by OpenAI that uses AI to gather and combine the best results from the web, offering timely answers and relevant web sources.

It integrates news, sports scores, stock quotes, and more, which was previously only available through traditional search engines like Google and Bing.

Additionally, iOS 18.2, set for release in December, will integrate ChatGPT into Siri, enabling voice interactions with the AI assistant.

ChatGPT Plus and Team subscribers can also enjoy enhanced features by logging into their accounts via the iOS Settings app.
