Charli XCX and Post Malone have each received an additional Grammy nomination for art direction, boosting their 2025 Grammy totals to eight.
This update, announced on Dec. 20, comes after the albums Brat and F-1 Trillion were resubmitted with the artists credited as art directors.
These albums were initially nominated in the Best Recording Package category on Nov. 8 but without their involvement in the art direction credits.
With these new nominations, Charli XCX and Post Malone now sit just behind Beyoncรฉ, who leads with 11 nominations, and ahead of Billie Eilish and Kendrick Lamar, both of whom have seven.
Kate Bush also received a nomination in the Best Recording Package category for her reissue Hounds of Love: The Baskerville Edition.
This album, originally released in 1985, features the hit โRunning Up That Hill (A Deal With God)โ that surged in popularity in 2022.
The role of artists in the art direction of their albums has grown over the years. While Frank Sinatra was the first artist to win a Grammy for art direction in 1959, recent years have seen more artists take on this role, with notable winners including Joni Mitchell, Suzanne Vega, and Father John Misty.
