Caviar, a brand renowned for crafting luxurious custom devices, has unveiled a new version of the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate.
This latest edition boasts an 18k gold body and weighs approximately 1 kilogram, elevating it into the realm of ultra-luxury gadgets.
The design of the 18k gold Mate XT Ultimate closely resembles the previously launched Gold Dragon variant, which features a 24k gold coating.
However, the 18k version is a one-of-a-kind piece, crafted exclusively for a wealthy client in the United States.
Due to its bespoke nature, itโs not listed on Caviar’s official website. The price for this exclusive device exceeds $100,000 (โฌ95,890/INR 8,539,350).
Caviar also revealed updates to the Gold Dragon model, initially launched in September with a starting price of $14,500 (โฌ13,905/INR 1,238,205).
It now comes with a higher base price of $17,340 (โฌ16,630/INR 1,480,725). Only 88 units of the Gold Dragon edition will be produced, as the number 88 is considered auspicious in Chinese culture.
The standard Huawei Mate XT Ultimate, which weighs about 300 grams, starts at CNY 19,999 ($2,740/โฌ2,630/INR 233,925).
Currently, itโs exclusive to the Chinese market, but an international release is expected in the first quarter of 2025.
