Cassie Mentions Ex-girlfriend Gina Huynh, But She May Skip Diddy Trial

Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Gina Huynh is unlikely to testify in his ongoing RICO trial, according to courtroom journalist Matthew Russell Lee. Lee, who closely covers the trial, says Gina has not been subpoenaed or listed as a cooperating witness.

Gina Huynh previously spoke out in 2019 about alleged domestic abuse by Diddy that caused her miscarriage. Despite this, she will probably not be part of the prosecution’s case. Lee explained, “It’s not a good look, nor is it usually effective, to subpoena a victim-witness.”

So far, Cassie Ventura is expected to be the only ex-girlfriend to testify in court. Cassie mentioned Gina during her testimony, saying Diddy was involved with both of them at different times.

Other witnesses include Kid Cudi, who testified about his relationship with Cassie and shared claims about Diddy damaging his Porsche. Several staff members and a makeup artist have also testified about incidents related to the case.

Cassie’s civil lawsuit in 2023 brought new attention to Diddy’s alleged behavior, leading to more women speaking out. However, Gina Huynh’s absence from the trial raises questions about how prosecutors are handling the case.

The trial continues under heavy media attention, focusing on abuse allegations and accountability within the entertainment industry.
