California Teacher, 33, Arrested for Sex with 17-Year-Old Student

A teacher, Dulce Flores, 33, was arrested on Tuesday. She is charged with having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student.

Flores taught at Riverbank High School since 2016. The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s office made the arrest.

Police are investigating the case. They are working with school officials. The school district said Flores is on leave.

This is the second similar case at Riverbank High School in two years. In 2023, a coach was also arrested for a relationship with a student.

In a separate case, a teacher in Texas was arrested for a relationship with a student. Molly Colleen Spears, 35, used text messages to contact the student.
