BTS member Taehyung, also known as V, will officially finish his mandatory military service on June 10, 2025. To celebrate, his Chinese fan group Baidu Vuba is organizing several large-scale tributes in South Korea, especially in Seoul and Chuncheon.
From June 10 to 14, two city buses displaying V’s images will run in these cities. In Seoul’s Seongsu-dong, a huge outdoor billboard with messages like “Born to be a superstar” and “V IS BACK” will be on display all week. Near BTS’s label HYBE, two digital trucks will show about 180 fan messages nonstop during the discharge week.
Fans are excited and hopeful that Taehyung will see these special tributes. On social media, many shared their joy and admiration for the Chinese fans’ efforts, praising their loyalty and love for V. A themed café event near HYBE will also celebrate his return and his 12th debut anniversary with photo spots, banners, and fan activities.
Taehyung’s solo music continues to thrive, even during his military service. His song “Slow Dancing” recently surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify, becoming his third solo track to reach this milestone.
BTS is expected to reunite by mid-2025 after all members complete their military duties, much to the excitement of fans worldwide.
