BTS’ popular music video Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix) has reached over 1.5 billion views on YouTube. BigHit Music announced this milestone on May 23, 2025. This makes it the fourth BTS music video to cross the 1.5 billion views mark, after Boy With Luv, Dynamite, and DNA.
The video for Mic Drop was released in November 2017. It took more than seven years for the video to reach this achievement. Fans are celebrating online, sharing clips and memories from the video on platforms like X and Instagram.
The remix was made by famous DJ Steve Aoki and is part of BTS’s mini album LOVE YOURSELF: Her. The song became very popular worldwide and stayed on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart for 10 weeks, entering at number 28. The video features strong visuals and impressive synchronized dancing by BTS members.
Other BTS music videos with over a billion views include IDOL, FAKE LOVE, Butter, Blood Sweat & Tears, Dope, Fire, and Save Me. Many of their videos have millions or billions of views, showing the group’s wide and loyal fanbase.
Although BTS members have been on a break due to military service, their popularity keeps growing. BTS is expected to reunite soon as remaining members prepare to finish their service. Jin and J-Hope have already been discharged and are back to activities.
