BTS star Jin has reached new heights with his latest solo release. His new EP Echo debuts at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, making it his highest-charting album so far. This marks a big step forward in his solo career, following last year’s Happy, which peaked at No. 4.
According to Luminate, Echo opened with 43,000 equivalent album units, a strong showing that places Jin just behind Morgan Wallen and SZA on the chart. This also makes Echo the top-performing K-pop solo release of 2025 so far.
On the Top Album Sales chart, Echo starts at No. 2, with 34,500 pure sales. It misses the top spot only to Wallen’s I’m the Problem, which had the year’s largest debut.
Perhaps most notably, Echo gives Jin his first-ever No. 1 on the Billboard World Albums chart, a major milestone in his solo journey. His previous EP Happy reached the top three but never took the lead.
Jin’s recent success comes just six months after his first solo project. As the last BTS member to release solo music, he is now catching up fast — and making a big impact along the way.
