Global K-pop group BTS will return with a new album on March 20, 2026, their agency BigHit Music announced on Thursday.

The release will be BTS’s first album in three years and nine months, following their anthology album “Proof,” which was released in June 2022.

Hints about the comeback appeared earlier through handwritten letters sent to fans’ homes. The letters thanked fans for their continued support and were stamped with the date “2026.03.20,” sparking speculation that was later confirmed by the agency.

BigHit Music also announced that BTS will begin a large-scale world tour after the album’s release. The company said further details about the album and tour schedule will be shared through official channels at a later date.

All seven members of BTS completed their mandatory military service in 2025, with Suga being the final member to be discharged in June.

The comeback marks a major moment for fans worldwide, as it will be the group’s first full release since completing military service.
