Brad Pitt has spoken publicly for the first time since settling his long-running divorce from Angelina Jolie. The pair finalized their divorce after nearly nine years of legal battles.
The 61-year-old actor has been under intense media scrutiny during the divorce, which began in 2016. Jolie accused Pitt of abuse during their marriage, including an alleged incident on a flight. Pitt has denied all accusations, and no charges were filed after an FBI investigation.
In a recent interview with GQ, Pitt reflected on how his personal life has been a constant focus in the media for decades. He said, “My personal life is always in the news. It’s been in the news for 30 years, bro.”
When asked if his latest movie, F1: The Movie, offered him an escape from the media attention, Pitt said it did not. He described the attention as an “annoyance” and a “nagging time suck” but said his personal life feels “warm and secure” with family and friends.
Pitt also said finalizing the divorce did not bring a major change or relief but was simply a legal formality.
The actor is currently in a relationship with 32-year-old Ines de Ramon and focuses on his work and family.
