In an explosive lawsuit filed on January 2, 2025, Justin Baldoni accuses Blake Lively of attempting to prevent him from attending the premiere of their film It Ends With Us.
Baldoni, who both directed and starred in the movie, alleges that Lively not only sidelined him from the filmโs marketing but also initially refused to allow him to attend the premiere.
He claims that it was only after significant pressure that Lively reluctantly allowed him to attend, but under humiliating conditions.
Baldoni further alleges that he and his team were “segregated” from the main cast, forced to organize their own event, and barred from attending the exclusive after-party.
The lawsuit also claims that Baldoniโs participation on the red carpet was cut short and that his family was confined to a basement holding area before being escorted to a separate theater.
He accuses Lively of “stealing the film” and robbing him and his team of a genuine opportunity to celebrate their work.
The lawsuit also mentions that Baldoni and Lively never appeared together in promotional material for the film, and at the New York premiere, they were seated in different theaters.
Additionally, Baldoni claims that Livelyโs husband, Ryan Reynolds, used bullying tactics to try to “exile” him from the film and get him dropped from his agency.
Lively has also filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, accusing him of causing her “severe emotional distress” and other damages.
The situation between the two stars appears to be escalating, with both parties filing lawsuits against each other in multiple courts.
