Blake Lively has filed a complaint against Justin Baldoni, her director and co-star in It Ends With Us. She accuses him of sexual harassment and unprofessional behavior on set.
The complaint was filed with California’s Civil Rights department and claims Baldoni caused “severe emotional harm” to Lively and her family.
Lively says Baldoni engaged in inappropriate behavior, including:
She also accuses Jamey Heath, CEO of Wayfarer Studios, of showing her an explicit video of his wife and acting unprofessionally.
The complaint alleges Baldoni and his team retaliated against Lively. She says they launched a smear campaign, including a digital strategy to discredit her.
Lively hopes her complaint will expose retaliatory tactics and protect others. Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, denied the allegations, calling them “categorically false.” He accused Lively of manipulating public perception.
Rumors of conflict between Lively and Baldoni began during the It Ends With Us press tour. The film made $350 million globally, but plans for a sequel are now uncertain.
The complaint includes messages allegedly showing Baldoni’s team celebrating online support for him and strategizing against Lively.
The New York Times published the full complaint, while TMZ first reported the filing.
