Actress Sydney Sweeney has teamed up with natural soap brand Dr. Squatch to release a limited-edition product made with her own bathwater. The new soap, called “Bathwater Bliss,” includes drops from a tub she used in a viral ad earlier this year.
Only 5,000 bars of the soap will be sold. Each bar comes with a certificate that confirms it contains Sweeney’s actual bathwater. The soap also includes exfoliating sand, pine bark extract, and forest-inspired scents to create a rugged, earthy feel.
Sweeney, best known for her role in Euphoria, said she leaned into the strange fan requests. “When fans start asking for your bathwater, you can either ignore it or turn it into a soap,” she joked. She called the project a fun and natural way to promote self-care.
This unusual launch follows Sweeney’s earlier collaboration with Dr. Squatch, where she appeared in a bathtub commercial that drew wide attention. The new soap continues that playful tone, mixing celebrity influence with the brand’s offbeat marketing style.
Reactions online have been mixed. Some people call the idea “creepy,” while others enjoy the novelty and natural ingredients. Despite the debate, the campaign has sparked plenty of buzz.
The soap will go on sale starting June 6, 2025. Whether it sells out or stirs up more controversy, it’s already one of the most talked-about launches of the year.
