Marvel Studios has officially kicked off the marketing for Avengers: Doomsday with a dedicated booth at Osaka Comic-Con 2025. The event took place from May 2 to May 5 and gave fans a first look at the movie’s branding and cast lineup, including an image of Robert Downey Jr., who is expected to return in a major role.
The booth, called “Road to the Avengers,” featured displays for Marvel’s upcoming films including Thunderbolts*, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and Avengers: Doomsday. The design took inspiration from Stark Industries and included photo ops, movie props, and cast standees to build hype.
One standout feature was the new Avengers: Doomsday logo and a display of cast chairs with Robert Downey Jr. at the center, drawing major fan attention. This was Marvel’s way of celebrating the next chapter in the Avengers saga while honoring the legacy of Tony Stark.
Although no new footage or trailers were revealed at the event, Marvel is expected to share major updates at San Diego Comic-Con from July 24–27, 2025. That panel could include a full trailer, more casting news, and possibly a reveal of Robert Downey Jr.’s rumored Doctor Doom outfit.
With Avengers: Doomsday set to release in 2026, Marvel is preparing for a year-long global marketing campaign. After a tough few years for the MCU, this film is seen as the next big moment to rally the fanbase, much like Avengers: Endgame did in 2019.
Fans can expect more reveals and announcements this summer as Marvel shifts into high gear ahead of one of its most anticipated films yet.
