Australia Cancels Kanye West’s Visa Over Controversial Song

The Australian government has officially cancelled Kanye West’s visa following the release of his new song titled Heil Hitler, which sparked global outrage for promoting hate speech and anti-Semitism.

Tony Burke, Australia’s Minister for the Arts, confirmed the decision and made a strong statement against the rapper’s actions.

“We have enough problems in this country already without deliberately importing bigotry,” Burke said.

Officials say the government acted swiftly to prevent West from entering the country, citing national values and public safety. The controversial track, which contains references glorifying Adolf Hitler, was widely condemned by politicians, Jewish communities, and human rights groups around the world.

Kanye West, also known as Ye, has previously faced backlash for making anti-Semitic comments. This latest move by Australia adds to the growing list of countries and platforms distancing themselves from the artist.

At the time of this report, West has not responded publicly to the visa cancellation.
