Arsenal Unveils Stylish 2025-26 Third Kit with Nods to Historic Highbury

Arsenal 2025-26 Third Kit

Arsenal Football Club has revealed its third kit for the 2025-26 season, a sleek retro design that pays tribute to Highbury, the club’s former home. The launch comes as Arsenal marks 20 years since their final season at Highbury in 2005-06.

Released on August 4, the Adidas-designed kit features a crisp white base with maroon logos and gold detailing, inspired by the club’s 2007-09 away strip. A jacquard pattern woven into the shirt reflects the Art Deco style of Highbury’s iconic East Stand, offering a subtle but elegant nod to the past.

The kit includes a traditional polo collar, with maroon and gold stripes on both the collar and sleeve cuffs. The historic Arsenal cannon crest, replacing the full badge this season, further enhances the vintage feel. The shirt is paired with white shorts and socks, also trimmed in maroon and gold.

Designed for away matches and UEFA Champions League fixtures, the kit is available in two versions: a replica for £80 featuring Adidas’ AEROREADY moisture-wicking technology, and a £110 authentic edition with HEAT.RDY fabric for advanced breathability.

Stars including Bukayo Saka, Alessia Russo, and Martin Ødegaard modeled the new look. Defender Jurrien Timber praised the design, saying, “Highbury is part of the club’s identity. This kit honors that history while inspiring the next generation.”

Fans have largely embraced the kit, praising its elegance and nostalgic value. Some, however, noted that the “Visit Rwanda” sleeve sponsor slightly clashes with the otherwise cohesive color scheme.

The kit is now available through Arsenal Direct, Adidas stores, and select retailers like Sports Direct. Personalization options for players like Saka and Declan Rice are also available.

Arsenal’s strong preseason form—including a 1-0 win over Newcastle United on May 14, sealed by a goal from Rice—has fueled anticipation for the upcoming campaign.
