The popular Apple Watch band tracking app Bandbreite has launched version 2.0 with over 30 new features and improvements, offering users better tools to organize and explore their band collections.
Available now for iPhone and iPad, Bandbreite 2.0 introduces a revamped logbook, faster iCloud sync, enhanced search, and richer collection stats. The app lets users browse more than 840 official Apple Watch bands by style, color, and release date, and track which ones they own.
New filters and sorting options have been added, making it easier to manage large collections. The update also marks a shift in pricing. After four years as a free app, Bandbreite now requires a one-time fee of $7.49 to manage collections of more than five bands. Creator Filip Chudzinski says this change will help keep the app sustainable.
Existing users with more than five bands can continue using all features, but will need to pay to add more bands.
An updated Mac version is in development, and the Apple Watch companion app is set to return soon.
Launched in 2020, Bandbreite began as a personal project and has since grown into the go-to tool for Apple Watch band collectors.
