On Monday, Apple pushed out fresh software updates for its AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods 4.
The new update brings firmware version 7B20 to AirPods 4 and version 7B21 to AirPods Pro 2. Apple has not said what changes these updates bring, but they likely fix bugs and improve performance.
This update comes shortly after the previous ones. AirPods 4 got version 7B19 on October 29, while AirPods Pro 2 received the same version a week earlier.
Users cannot manually update their AirPods. The update happens when the AirPods are connected to an iOS device and placed inside their charging case. This update works on AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C and Lightning charging cases.
