Why No New Hardware?

Apple’s Vision Pro, which was announced in 2023, launched in February 2024. This new product line required a lot of attention and resources. It is likely that this, along with the development of Apple Intelligence, took up much of Apple’s focus in 2024.
Additionally, Apple’s electric vehicle project, which was rumored but later canceled, may have used up some of the company’s resources.
This, along with the global slowdown caused by COVID-19, likely affected Apple’s ability to introduce new products in 2024.
Looking Ahead to 2025
While 2024 didn’t bring new hardware, rumors suggest that Apple may introduce a new product in 2025.
There are talks of a smart home “Command Center” with a 7-inch display, which could be a new product line for Apple. However, no major new hardware is expected for the rest of the year.
