Apple has officially announced the winners of its 2025 Apple Design Awards, just days before the start of its annual Worldwide Developers Conference.
As in previous years, the awards highlight the best apps and games across a range of categories, celebrating outstanding design, creativity, and technical achievement.
This year, the awards covered six core categories: Delight and Fun, Inclusivity, Innovation, Interaction, Social Impact, and Visuals and Graphics. For each category, Apple selected one winning app and one winning game, along with two finalists.
While last year included a dedicated Spatial Computing category for Vision Pro, this time around, there was no separate slot for Apple’s new headset.
Still, Vision Pro apps made a strong showing, appearing among several of the winning and nominated entries. This shift signals Apple’s growing focus on integrating Vision Pro into the broader developer ecosystem rather than treating it as a niche platform.
Apple says the winning apps this year are not only visually impressive but also take full advantage of the company’s hardware and software capabilities.
From apps that delight users with playful design to tools that push the boundaries of interaction and accessibility, the 2025 lineup reflects a wide range of creative approaches.
As excitement builds for WWDC next week, this early reveal offers a glimpse into the kinds of experiences Apple hopes to promote going forward—particularly those that embrace the company’s latest technologies like Vision Pro.
