The new MacBook is expected to feature a 13-inch display and a design inspired by older MacBook Air models, possibly the 2015 12-inch or 2018–2020 13.3-inch chassis. It is likely to use a standard LCD screen rather than Apple’s more expensive Mini-LED panels.
Performance will reportedly come from the A18 or A18 Pro chip, which is expected to offer speeds similar to the original M1 MacBook Air. The device will likely include 8GB of RAM, enough for casual use and student tasks.
Apple is said to prioritize portability and battery life, with the efficient A-series processor allowing for long usage times. The MacBook SE is expected to have 1–2 USB-C ports, keeping the design simple and functional.
