Apple has launched the Apple Watch SE 3 at its September 9 event, delivering notable upgrades to its entry-level smartwatch, including better performance, expanded health monitoring, and improved durability.
The Watch SE 3 is powered by the new S10 chip, promising faster performance and greater efficiency. For the first time, the SE line gains an Always-On display, a feature previously limited to higher-end models.
Health and safety features have been expanded. The device can track heart rate, sleep quality, ovulation cycles, body temperature, and potential falls. Apple says these features aim to make the SE 3 a reliable everyday health companion.
The smartwatch supports 5G connectivity, helping users stay connected without relying on their iPhone. Battery life is rated at up to 18 hours, with fast charging included to minimize downtime.
Like its predecessor, the SE 3 is built with 100% recycled aluminum and comes with a 4x more crack-resistant glass, underlining Apple’s focus on sustainability.
By combining advanced features with a lower price point, Apple positions the SE 3 as an accessible option for users who want key health tracking and connectivity without paying the premium of the Series 11 or Ultra models.
