Apple’s Control Center, a key part of the iPhone experience, has seen continuous improvements since its major redesign in iOS 18. Users can now enjoy 12 new controls added across recent updates from iOS 18.1 through iOS 18.4.
These new additions fall into four main categories: Ambient Music, Productivity, Sleep and Wellbeing, Apple Intelligence & Siri, Connectivity, and Measure.
A standout feature is Ambient Music controls tied to Apple Music’s new capabilities in iOS 18.4. For iPhone 15 Pro users, the Visual Intelligence control, which uses AI, is now available—previously, it was exclusive to the iPhone 16.
Other controls improve quick access to existing features, such as AirDrop, VPN, Wi-Fi, and Measure tools. This allows users to customize Control Center with shortcuts they use most, saving time and taps.
Apple’s ongoing effort to expand Control Center shows the company’s commitment to making iPhone’s quick settings even more powerful and user-friendly. With full customization now possible, users can tailor their Control Center to their specific needs.
As iOS 26 approaches this fall, many hope Apple will keep adding useful features. Which of these new controls have you tried? What would you like to see next?
