Later that afternoon, Affleck was spotted giving Garner a ride home in his signature BMW, with his son Samuel potentially riding shotgun.
The sighting comes just a day after Lopez posted a Father’s Day tribute to Affleck on Instagram, sharing a photo of him from the 1998 film Pearl Harbor and calling him an “amazing father.” However, it appears she did not actually spend the day with her husband.
This is a stark contrast from last year, when Lopez shared loving photos of her and Affleck together for Father’s Day. The separate celebrations point to the ongoing troubles in Affleck and Lopez’s marriage, which has been rumored for months amid reports they are trying to sell their $60 million marital home.
Affleck’s quality Father’s Day time with his ex-wife and their children, rather than his current wife, will only further fuel speculation that a divorce between him and Lopez is all but inevitable at this point.
