Minecraft Tricky Trails Update Minecraft Tricky Trails Update

The Minecraft Tricky Trials update is set to release on June 13, 2024, for both Bedrock and Java Editions.

This update promises a plethora of new features, including new mobs, blocks, Trial Chambers, armor trims, a new craftable mace, and more.

New Mobs and Features

The update introduces three new mobs: the Armadillo, Breeze, and Bogged. The Armadillo provides armor for wolves, while the Breeze has a powerful projectile attack. The Bogged are moss-covered poisonous skeletons found in swamps and Trial Chambers.

Trial Chambers are new dungeons that can be found through exploration in the overworld. These chambers contain combat and exploration-based challenges, featuring new mob types and rewarding players with loot through a new block called the Vault. Vaults require a trial key and give all players a chance to get rewards.

New Blocks and Items

The update includes new decorative blocks like copper blocks, which can be chiseled, and new decorative items like pottery sherds and banners. Additionally, 20 new painting designs are being added to the game, providing more options for decorating.

New Weapon and Combat Features

The update introduces a new melee weapon, the Mace, which incentivizes jumping from great heights. If players successfully land an attack, they will be shielded from fall damage. However, if they miss, they will absorb the full impact.

Automatic Crafting and Realms Plus

The update also includes automatic crafting, which utilizes Redstone to automate crafting. Realms Plus, an enhanced version of Minecraft Realms, is now accessible, featuring an in-game social feed called Realm Stories, monthly character creator items, improved render distance, and more.

Release Date and Availability

The Minecraft Tricky Trials update will be released simultaneously on Minecraft’s Bedrock and Java Editions. Players can try out some of these upcoming features early by enabling Snapshots if playing on the Java version or Previews/Beta on the Bedrock version.

The Minecraft 1.21 Tricky Trials update promises a fresh and exciting experience for players, with new challenges, enemies, crops, and items to explore. With its release on June 13, 2024, players can look forward to a new adventure in the world of Minecraft.
