14 New Netflix Games Announced: Emily In Paris, Lord of The Rings & More

Netflix is significantly expanding its video game offerings, announcing more than a dozen new titles that will be available to stream for subscribers. The slate includes games based on popular Netflix series like “Emily in Paris” and “Too Hot to Handle,” as well as original games from acclaimed developers.

Some of the highlights include “The Dragon Prince: Xadia,” a hero-based action RPG set in the world of the hit animated series, arriving on July 30th. An interactive musical game called “Harmonium” featuring a young Deaf musician is also on the way this summer.

Netflix revealed the following new games:

• The Case of the Golden Idol – June 11
• Hearts – June 18
• Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit – June 25
• Too Hot to Handle 3 – July 23
• The Dragon Prince: Xadia – July 30
• Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure – Summer 2024
• Don’t Starve Together
• Harmonium: The Musical
• Lab Rat
• Netflix Stories: Emily in Paris
• Netflix Stories: Selling Sunset
• Rotwood
• Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game

Netflix will launch three new games from indie studio Klei Entertainment exclusively on mobile – the narrative puzzler “Lab Rat,” the survival game “Don’t Starve Together,” and an untitled game called “Rotwood.” They are also bringing the upcoming “Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game” to mobile, allowing players to live the cozy life of a Hobbit.

Several of the games, like the recently announced “Netflix Stories” titles based on reality shows, will put players into storylines connected to Netflix series they are already fans of. “The Case of the Golden Idol” is a true detective game challenging players to solve a mystery.

With this latest update, Netflix’s gaming library continues to rapidly grow beyond its streaming roots. The games will be available with no additional fees for Netflix subscribers across mobile platforms. The expansion signals Netflix’s ambitions in the gaming space as it looks to engage subscribers with interactive content.
