Disney+, Hulu, Max Streaming Bundle Launched by Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery

In an unprecedented move, Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery have teamed up to offer a new streaming mega-bundle combining Disney+, Hulu, and the newly rebranded Max (formerly HBO Max). This first-of-its-kind partnership between major media companies will allow subscribers to access all three streaming services in one discounted package.

The bundle, announced Wednesday, will be available directly through the Disney+, Hulu, and Max platforms later this summer. Both ad-supported and ad-free pricing tiers are expected, though specific costs have not yet been revealed.

The package promises to deliver an “unprecedented selection” of entertainment by combining the catalogs and original programming from ABC, Disney, Pixar, Marvel, FX, Hulu Originals, HBO, Warner Bros., Discovery, CNN, Food Network, HGTV and more.

While final details are still forthcoming, the mega-bundle represents a major shift in strategy as media giants look to join forces rather than directly compete in the streaming wars.

Just announced in February, a separate sports streaming bundle from ESPN, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery is also slated for this fall.

As consumer viewing habits evolve, these streaming bundles aim to provide more value, convenience and variety of content in a single, discounted package. The Disney/Max partnership is the largest such bundle to date between major media companies.
