Netflix has added four new actors to its upcoming “Assassin’s Creed” series.
Noomi Rapace, Ramzy Bedia, Sean Harris, and Corrado Invernizzi have joined the show in recurring roles. Their character details are being kept secret.
The series is based on the hit video game franchise. It tells the story of a secret war between two groups. One group wants to control humanity through power and manipulation. The other fights to protect free will.
The show will move across major moments in history as the characters battle to shape the future.
Previously announced cast members include Toby Wallace, Lola Petticrew, Zachary Hart, Laura Marcus, and Tanzyn Crawford.
The series is executive produced by Robert Patino and David Wiener, who also serve as showrunners. Ubisoft Film & Television is also behind the project.
The “Assassin’s Creed” game franchise launched in 2007 and has sold more than 230 million copies worldwide. It follows the long-running conflict between the Assassins and the Templars.
Netflix has not announced a release date yet.
