Apple is planning to release at least three new “Ultra” devices this year.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the company is shifting focus toward high-end products.
The first is the iPhone Ultra. It will be foldable, cost around $2,000, and feature a large inner display and under-screen sensors.
Next is the AirPods Ultra. These will sit above the current AirPods Pro and include computer-vision cameras to give Siri more “Visual Intelligence.”
Apple is also working on a MacBook Ultra. It will have a touchscreen OLED display and cost up to 20% more than current M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pros.
Gurman says Apple may not use the “Ultra” name for all devices, even though it already appears in Apple Watch Ultra, M-series Ultra chips, and CarPlay Ultra.
In the future, other Apple products like the iPad and iMac could also get a “superpremium” Ultra version. This might include a foldable iPad or a larger, more powerful iMac.
Apple is steadily expanding its high-end lineup, giving fans more options at the top of its product range.
