Ye has crossed 70 million monthly listeners on Spotify, marking his biggest streaming comeback in nearly two years. The rapper, formerly known as Kanye West, now has over 70 million listeners, driven by strong catalog streams and renewed fan interest.

His listener count jumped by more than 3 million in just one month. Classic albums like Graduation, The College Dropout, and Late Registration continue to attract millions of daily streams. Ye has also crossed 1 billion total Spotify streams in 2026 so far, placing him among the platform’s top global artists.

In another major move, Apple Music has restored Ye’s “Essentials” playlist after removing it in 2022. The playlist includes some of his biggest hits and highlights his impact on hip-hop and modern music.

The playlist was originally removed following widespread backlash over Ye’s controversial public statements. Its return now signals a possible shift in how major streaming platforms are treating his catalog and public presence.

Fans reacted quickly to the news, celebrating the playlist’s return and Ye’s rising streaming numbers. Many see it as a sign that his music is regaining mainstream visibility and momentum after years of setbacks.

Attention is now turning to his upcoming album Bully, which is scheduled for release on March 20, 2026. The project is expected to perform strongly, with early projections suggesting major first-week sales.

Ye’s latest milestone shows the lasting power of his music. Despite controversy, his catalog continues to attract massive audiences worldwide, proving his influence in hip-hop remains strong.
