Samsung’s next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S26, is expected to launch in late February, with the device reaching stores on 11 March, according to multiple leaks.
Industry tipster Ice Universe says pre-orders for the Galaxy S26 series will open on 26 February and run until 4 March. This will be followed by a short pre-sale period from 5 to 10 March, before general sales begin on 11 March. The schedule has been confirmed by more than one source.
The leaked timeline currently applies to South Korea, though Samsung often follows similar launch patterns globally. Reports suggest Samsung chose a midweek release to avoid launching on Friday 13 March, which is considered unlucky in some markets.
Samsung is also expected to introduce a new “ultra-high strength” display with the Galaxy S26 Ultra. According to Ice Universe, the screen will use a new generation of Gorilla Glass that may remove the need for a screen protector.

The display is also expected to reduce reflections, improve scratch resistance and include built-in privacy features that limit viewing from wide angles. Samsung is reportedly using a new panel technology that allows the screen to be brighter and more power-efficient.
Another leak suggests Samsung will launch a magnetic wireless power bank designed for the Galaxy S26 series. The accessory is said to support Qi2 wireless charging and attach magnetically to the phone.
The power bank is expected to offer a 5,000mAh capacity and charge at up to 15 watts wirelessly. Reports suggest it could cost around €60 in Europe, potentially undercutting similar Apple accessories.
Samsung has not yet officially confirmed the Galaxy S26 launch date or specifications.
