Oracle Red Bull Racing is set to unveil its 2026 Formula 1 car, the RB22, as the sport prepares for its biggest regulation change in decades. The launch marks the beginning of Red Bull’s new era with Red Bull Ford Powertrains.

The event will take place in Detroit, a symbolic choice tied to Red Bull’s technical partnership with Ford. Instead of a traditional UK launch, the team will reveal the car at Michigan Central Station.

The unveiling is scheduled for Friday, January 16, 2026, at 08:30 AM EST. Fans around the world can watch the event live on the official Oracle Red Bull Racing YouTube channel.

This will be more than a simple livery reveal. Red Bull and Visa Cash App Racing Bulls (VCARB) will jointly celebrate their full transition to Red Bull Ford power units ahead of the new rules.

Red Bull’s 2026 driver lineup features a mix of experience and youth. Max Verstappen will race with the number 3, while Isack Hadjar steps up to the senior team after impressing at VCARB. Yuki Tsunoda becomes test and reserve driver for both teams.

The RB22 is a clean-sheet design built for the 2026 “nimble car” rules. It features a 50% electric power unit, carbon-neutral fuel, active aerodynamics, and a lighter, more compact chassis.

Ford’s involvement goes beyond branding. Ford engineers have worked closely with Red Bull for over two years, focusing on battery technology and power electronics to compete with Ferrari and Mercedes.

Fans can tune in globally, with the livestream airing at 1:30 PM GMT in London, 2:30 PM CET, and 5:30 PM GST in Abu Dhabi, as Red Bull officially launches its bold new chapter in Formula 1.
