RPG fans are keeping a close eye on Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, an upcoming free-to-play online game that mixes elements of The Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy into one adventure.
Developed by Shanghai Bokura Network Technology, Blue Protocol: Star Resonance will launch on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as on iOS and Android devices later this year. The game does not yet have an official release date.
The game invites players to explore Magna, a large fantasy continent filled with rare crystals, mystical herbs, monster stampedes, and scenic landscapes.
According to the developers, the world will offer plenty of side activities alongside combat, such as fishing, dancing at fairs, setting off fireworks, and socializing in guild chats.
Combat in Star Resonance focuses on real-time action, requiring players to work together in multiplayer parties to defeat bosses with unique attack patterns. The goal is to collect loot, strengthen characters, and build legendary guilds.
The game’s art style and gameplay loop have drawn comparisons to both The Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy, with players already calling it a potential standout in the fantasy RPG market.
Fans interested in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance can add the game to their Steam wishlist or follow updates through the official website and social media channels.
