Rockstar Games has removed a popular player-created mission from GTA Online after it went viral on social media. The mission allowed players to raid a virtual mansion inspired by music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Players created the mission using the game’s expanded Mission Creator tools, which were added in a recent update. The mission quickly spread online due to its strong resemblance to real-world events.

Mission Based on Real Events

The fan-made mission placed players in the role of undercover FIB agents, Rockstar’s fictional version of the FBI. Their task was to raid a mansion in the Richman area of Los Santos and arrest a character clearly modeled after Combs.

The scenario closely mirrored real federal raids carried out at Combs’ properties in the United States in 2024. Some versions of the mission also included jokes and references linked to those real investigations.

Because of these similarities, the mission drew attention from both fans and critics.

Rockstar Enforces Its Rules

Rockstar Games removed the mission after deciding it violated its Community Guidelines. The company does not allow user-generated content that targets real people, recreates real-world legal cases, or uses celebrity names and likenesses.

Rockstar has long allowed satire in Grand Theft Auto, but it draws a clear line when content appears to mock or harass real individuals or reference active legal matters.

Following the removal, players reported stricter filters in the Mission Creator. These filters now block certain real names from being used in mission titles and descriptions.

Mixed Reaction from Players

The decision sparked debate among GTA Online players. Some were disappointed and called the mission a creative and funny piece of content. Others said its removal was expected and warned that using real names in missions often leads to bans or deletions.

For now, the mission is no longer accessible, and Rockstar has not commented publicly beyond enforcing its existing rules.
