Nicki Minaj has publicly accused Desiree Perez, CEO of Roc Nation, of being behind several swatting attacks targeting her over the past year. The rapper made the claims in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), linking them to ongoing legal disputes involving Perez’s daughter, Demoree Hadley.
Hadley is suing her mother, alleging that Perez attempted to have her forcibly admitted to a psychiatric facility. Nicki highlighted these claims, writing that Hadley was subjected to unauthorized mental assessments by paid professionals and even fake Nike representatives.
She added that false accusations were made to get Hadley committed and that Perez’s son-in-law was wrongly imprisoned following abuse allegations.
Nicki also referenced three separate swatting incidents at her home, where police were called under false claims of a man with a gun. She suggested that the tactics used against her mirrored those aimed at Perez’s daughter, accusing those responsible of using terms like “crazy” and “not in right mind” to discredit her.
In addition to Perez, Nicki also criticized Jay-Z and Megan Thee Stallion during her recent rants, accusing Perez and Jay-Z of damaging various aspects of the entertainment industry.
Nicki Minaj’s outspoken allegations have drawn widespread attention and sparked debate amid her ongoing disputes within the music industry.
