Cyberpunk 2077 Graphics Update Makes the Game Look Like Real Life

Night City has never looked so real.

Cyberpunk 2077 has always been a visually impressive game, but a new fan-made graphics update is taking it to a whole new level. YouTuber Digital Dreams released a new video showing off the game with dozens of graphics mods running at 4K resolution and 170 frames per second.

The result? A version of Cyberpunk 2077 that looks almost like real life.

The video features scenes from all over the game, from the neon streets of Night City to intense gunfights, all presented with ultra-realistic lighting, smooth textures, and buttery-smooth performance. One viewer commented, “If you showed me this when I was a kid, my mind would have exploded.”

Not for the Average Gamer

To run Cyberpunk 2077 at this level, you need serious hardware. Digital Dreams used a powerful setup, including:

  • NVIDIA RTX 5090 FE
  • 64GB of RAM
  • Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor

This kind of performance is out of reach for most gamers, but it gives fans a taste of what’s possible — and maybe a preview of what Cyberpunk 2077’s sequel could look like on next-gen consoles like the PlayStation 6.

Even without mods, Cyberpunk 2077 already looks great on current platforms, including the recently launched Nintendo Switch 2, which allows players to enjoy Night City even while relaxing in bed.

As graphics technology continues to evolve, mods like this give a glimpse into the future of video game visuals — and it’s looking incredible.
