Google AI Pro Annual Plan Launches with Extra Features and Storage

Google has introduced a new annual payment option for its AI Pro subscription. Users can now pay $199.99 per year instead of the previous monthly rate of $19.99. This annual plan saves users about 16% compared to paying monthly.

Previously, only monthly payments were available for Google AI Pro. Google first launched the service last year under the name Google One AI Premium. The absence of an annual plan was unusual since other storage plans like the 5 TB tier already had yearly options.

Google AI Pro gives users 2 TB of storage for Google Drive, Gmail, and Photos. It also offers special features such as:

  • Access to the Gemini app with higher usage limits
  • Limited access to Veo 3 video generation
  • The Flow filmmaking tool with Veo 3 access
  • Whisk with Veo 2
  • 1,000 monthly AI credits for video generation
  • NotebookLM with higher limits
  • Gemini features in Gmail, Docs, and videos
  • Longer Google Meet calls
  • Google Calendar appointment scheduling
  • 10% cashback on Google Store purchases

For those who want to switch to annual billing, they can visit one.google.com/plans and select “Switch to Annual” under the Google AI Pro card.

Google continues to offer various storage plans, with higher tiers like 10 TB and above available only as monthly subscriptions.
