Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt Reunite After 31 Years at F1 Movie Premiere

Tom Cruise made a surprise appearance at the London premiere of “F1: The Movie” on June 23, 2025. He joined Brad Pitt on the red carpet at Cineworld, Leicester Square. This was their first public meeting in 31 years.

The two stars last worked together in the 1994 film “Interview with the Vampire.” Cruise and Pitt hugged and posed for photos in front of a sports car. Fans and photographers were thrilled to see them together.

Pitt attended with his girlfriend Ines de Ramon and co-stars Kerry Condon and Damson Idris. Cruise spoke with Formula One CEO Stefano Domenicali, director Joseph Kosinski, and producer Jerry Bruckheimer. Other celebrities at the premiere included Simone Ashley, Hans Zimmer, will.i.am, and Ed Sheeran.

“F1: The Movie” stars Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes, a retired Formula One driver. He returns to racing to mentor a young driver played by Damson Idris. Joseph Kosinski directed the film, and Jerry Bruckheimer produced it. The movie opens in theaters on June 27, 2025.

The reunion created excitement among fans. Many hope the actors will work together again. Pitt joked that he would only work with Cruise on ground-level projects. He wants to avoid Cruise’s famous aerial stunts.

Director Kosinski revealed he once planned a racing movie with both actors. Budget problems killed that project. Instead, “Ford v Ferrari” was made with different stars.

Cruise praised Pitt’s driving skills. He remembered their go-kart races during “Interview with the Vampire” filming.
