Leaked images show Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Watch 8 series, which includes three models: the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025.
Veteran leaker Evan Blass posted the renders on social media. The images reveal design details for all three smartwatches expected to launch soon.
The Galaxy Watch 8 features a circular screen on a squircle-shaped case. The watch has two buttons on the right side, similar to the Galaxy Watch 7. The leaked image shows a black/gray model, though more colors are likely available.
The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic has a more premium design with an analog-style watch face. It includes a rotating dial around the screen and appears to have an action button like the Ultra model. The leaked image shows a silver/white version that appears to be 46mm in size.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 keeps a similar design to last year’s model. It features the same case shape and round display as the previous Ultra watch. The orange action button returns along with two side keys. Text on the back suggests this is a 47mm model.
All three watches share the squircle-shaped case design with round screens. This continues Samsung’s recent smartwatch design language.
The new watches will run One UI 8 Watch software. New features include bedtime guidance for sleep, stress measurement during sleep, a Running Coach feature, and an Antioxidant Index. Samsung may put some features behind a paywall.
Samsung typically announces new Galaxy Watch models alongside its foldable phones at summer Unpacked events. The company is expected to hold its next Unpacked event next month.
