BTS made a powerful comeback this June with their FESTA reunion, but SEVENTEEN has officially taken over the top spot in K-pop’s latest brand value rankings. According to the Korea Brand Reputation Index (KBRI), SEVENTEEN is now the No.1 K-pop boy group for June 2025, pushing BTS to second place.
The rankings are based on media coverage, fan engagement, online buzz, and community interest.
BTS celebrated their 12th anniversary with a full group performance, bringing all seven members together after completing military duties. But SEVENTEEN’s steady rise in global popularity made the difference.
Their brand value score jumped over 22% in June, driven by their hit album Happy Birthday and massive international success. BTS’s score dropped slightly compared to May.
SEVENTEEN’s recent success includes a world tour that earned over $98 million from just 24 shows and album sales beating top American artists like Kendrick Lamar and Billie Eilish.
Other groups like BIGBANG, SHINee, and Stray Kids also saw big gains this month. Stray Kids had a 119% rise, climbing back into the Top 5.
