The 34th Seoul Music Awards took place on June 21, 2025, at the Inspire Arena in Incheon. The event celebrated the best achievements in K-pop from 2024. Fans enjoyed a night of exciting performances, emotional speeches, and historic wins.
The biggest moment of the night was i-dle winning the Daesang (Grand Prize). This made them the first female group to win the top award at the Seoul Music Awards since Girls’ Generation in 2010. Their win shows their strong influence and growth in the K-pop industry.

Other Highlights:
TXT stood out with three big wins, including Best Album and Best Song. BLACKPINK’s Rosé and aespa were both honored as World Best Artists.
BTS members RM and Jimin also made headlines by winning awards shortly after finishing their military service. Young Tak was a multiple winner, showing his strength in trot and OST categories. Rookie of the Year went to three new groups, showing the fresh talent coming into K-pop.
Though usually held in January, the ceremony moved to June this year. Still, it gave fans a night to remember. The 34th Seoul Music Awards proved that K-pop’s growth continues with both legendary artists and new stars shaping its future.
